Project Overview

This motion UX comic was created as a visual response to the heavy theoretical nature of UX design. As someone who learns best through hands-on experience, I wanted to create something that combined my skills in motion graphics with UX principles.

The comic uses animation and character design to deliver an important UX message: "Never assume your user knows what to do. Your interface must communicate clearly and intuitively." This project was a great way to practice motion design, while reinforcing core UX concepts like clarity, simplicity, and accessibility.

Creative Process

Here's a quick rundown of how I approached the creation of this UX comic:

Concept & Storyboarding: I began with sketches and a rough storyboard to define the comic’s flow.
Design: Characters and scenes were designed in Illustrator, ensuring they were simple, clear, and expressive.
Animation: Using After Effects, I brought the scenes to life with smooth transitions and animation.
Sound Design: Added royalty-free sound effects from Pexels to enhance the story.
